Matchday 2 in the Champions League certainly delivered with drama and gaols aplenty.
Lionel Messi finally opened his PSG account with a superb goal against Manchester City, curling it into the top corner after a lovely interchange with Kylian Mbappe.
Liverpool took a grip on top spot of a tricky group as they ruthlessly did away with Porto, smashing five past the Portuguese champions.
Mohamed Salah ran the Porto defence ragged, netting a brace before Roberto Firmino grabbed two of his own late on.

In their first ever away clash in Europe's elite competition, Sheriff visited one of football's true citadels to face the might of Real Madrid and didn't look out of place for a second.
They took the lead in the first half through a brilliant header and were only pegged back by a Karim Benzema penalty in the second half.
They thought they had snatched the lead back after they had the ball in the back of the net but it was ruled out for offside.
They kept pushing forward regardless and, in the 89th minute they got the ultimate reward.

A bouncing ball fell to Sebastien Thill who grabbed the moment with both hands, leathering a howitzer into the Madrid net to clinch the most unlikely of wins.
The emotional scenes that followed showed just how much the win meant to the Moldovan minnows but there was even more beautiful story within the frenzied celebrations.
A picture has emerged of Thill's tattoos on his leg, with fans noticing one brilliant one his calf.
In amongst plenty of ink there is, clear as day, an image of Thill himself dreaming of the Champions League trophy.
Now, on the biggest night of his career, he has a Champions League winner at the Bernabeu.
What an incredible story.
The result sees Sheriff go top of Group D with two wins from two - perhaps this Champions League business isn't all that hard after all?
These certainly are heady heights for a club only formed in 1997 but it is this exact sort of fantasy come true that makes the Champions League one of the most loved tournaments on the planet.
It's a modern day David and Goliath story and Thill's tattoo just goes to prove that dreams, no matter how far-fetched, really do come true.
