The winter transfer window is expected to have little impact on the Real Madrid first team, with no further moves anticipated following Endrick’s loan to Lyon, but it will be felt at La Fabrica.

A couple of new signings have already been made in the form of Manex Rezola and Guille Gonzalez, while there could be a few departures on the horizon as well.

Alex Sanchez considers January exit

One such player, who could be on his way out of La Fabrica this month, could be Alex Sanchez, reports MARCA.

The talented 19-year-old midfielder, son of Michel Sanchez, current coach of Girona, is considering a move due to the limited playing time he has had.

The academy player will assess offers and, if any align with what he is looking for to continue his development, he could opt to leave Valdebebas after six years at the club.

Alex Sanchez joined in 2019 from Rayo Vallecano, initially linking up with the Infantil A side. Since then, he has consistently been regarded as one of the academy players with the most promising potential, noted for his quality, vision and sharpness on the ball.

Last season, he was promoted to Real Madrid C while still eligible for youth football, and he has also been seen on occasion training with the first team.

However, his involvement with the second reserve side has been limited for various reasons, and he is now looking beyond Valdebebas in search of the minutes that have so far eluded him.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Hugo Mantecon and midfielder Carlos Rodriguez are also among those who could be on their way out, with Real Madrid looking for a mini-overhaul to their ‘C’ team to revitalise a team that has struggled this season.
