An insight into the current bookmakers’ odds when it comes to the likeliest winners of this season’s edition of the Champions League has on Wednesday been provided.

The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, and points towards a pair of Spanish clubs being amongst the frontrunners to go all the way in Europe in 2024/25.

Topping the list, unsurprisingly, are Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Next up come current competition holders Real Madrid, ahead of another of the Premier League’s heavyweights, in Arsenal, in 3rd.

And, in something of a surprise, it is Barcelona who slot in behind Mikel Arteta’s Gunners.

Recognised for their excellent start to the campaign on the domestic front, Hansi Flick’s side are considered as being more likely to win the Champions League than the likes of Bayern Munich and Liverpool behind them.

Looking further down the list, Diego Simeone’s Atlético Madrid come in as 9th-favourites, whilst tournament debutants Girona sit in 23rd.
