Aston Villa’s summer rebuild may not be finished yet, with Unai Emery’s side emerging as a potential destination for one of Real Madrid’s most exciting young attackers. Villa entered the window after winning the Europa League, but losing Morgan Rogers to Chelsea and Youri Tielemans to Manchester United removed two hugely influential players.

They have responded by bringing in Johan Manzambi and Joao Gomes, while Alejandro Garnacho has arrived on loan from Chelsea.

The Argentine gives Emery another explosive wide option, but Villa could still use greater depth and goals across their attack.

That is where Endrick becomes particularly interesting. The Brazilian remains one of world football’s highest-rated young forwards, yet his path to regular minutes at Real Madrid has become increasingly complicated.

Aston Villa have held Endrick conversations

According to TEAMtalk, Endrick’s representatives and intermediaries have contacted a number of Premier League clubs while exploring a possible departure from Madrid.

The report adds that England would be Endrick’s preferred destination if he leaves Spain.

Real Madrid would favour another straight loan without an option to buy, and importantly, Villa are reportedly one of the clubs willing to accept that structure.

Competition is substantial, however. Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Chelsea and Fulham have also discussed the 20-year-old’s availability.

A loan move could work out for all parties

For Villa, this feels like an opportunity worth pursuing.

Their window has already involved significant change. The Guardian reports that Garnacho followed Manzambi and Gomes into Villa Park, while Rogers and Tielemans departed.

Villa are also operating under UEFA financial restrictions, making another loan particularly attractive.

Endrick could provide competition through the middle without requiring another enormous permanent investment. His pace, movement and ability to attack space would also suit an Emery side that can be devastating in transition.

The downside is obvious: without a purchase option, Villa could spend a season developing a Real Madrid asset and then lose him.

Still, Champions League football and Emery’s track record with young players give Villa a strong sales pitch.

With so many Premier League rivals interested, they will need to move quickly, but this is precisely the kind of high-upside opportunity a club with Villa’s ambitions should explore.
