Real Madrid set to sign Aliaksei Mayorau

Indeed, according to MARCA, Real Madrid have beaten Barcelona to the capture of 12-year-old Belarusian wonderkid Aliaksei Mayorau.

After six months of intense negotiation, the young prodigy has opted to pursue his training at Valdebebas.

Last April, Mayorau was chosen as one of the seven best players of the MIC, one of the most prestigious tournaments on the international scene in which, year after year, promising young players emerge, with clubs keeping an eye on them

Real Madrid and Barcelona already had his name in their sights for some time. They have been knocking on the door of Cerdanyola for months trying to convince Mayorau to join their youth academy.

As per MARCA, Barcelona, in particular, put a lot of pressure to convince the 12-year-old to choose La Masia.

However, the youngster has always prioritised his arrival at Real Madrid and yesterday all the relevant documentation was signed for him to become the latest addition to La Fabrica.
