Real Madrid have big decisions to make in the upcoming summer transfer window, with the club’s goals reportedly being to reduce the squad size and keep only vital players.

There will undoubtedly be some big-name signings, and unsurprisingly so after two trophy-less seasons.

Alongside the said big-money arrivals, however, the club also maintains a close eye on former players who are out on loan or playing at other clubs. Nico Paz, on that front, seems set to return, and Defensa Central bring to light another confirmed returnee.

The Brazilian wonderkid

Indeed, as reported by the Spanish outlet, Real Madrid have decided to bring back Endrick from his loan stint at Olympique Lyon.

Los Blancos have already made the decision over his return and see it to be non-negotiable for a side which is struggling in front of goal beyond Kylian Mbappe.

Endrick’s return promises goals as Real Madrid see it, and they hope that his arrival can make an immediate impact, given the quality he will have all around him at Real Madrid.

The young Brazilian left the club in January after the club pushed him to gain regular minutes under his belt. After all, Xabi Alonso had made it quite clear that he does not count on the youngster this season.

Immediately after the player’s departure, however, Alonso was sacked and replaced by Arbeloa, who held great faith in young talents – a move that led to serious questions being asked about the timing of Endrick’s departure.

So far on loan in the Ligue 1, Endrick has 11 appearances and three goals to his name. He has also provided five assists in the competition.

He started very strongly with five goals and two assists in his first five games across all competitions for the team. He then hit a rough patch, but has slowly been gaining his footing back with three assists in his last five games for club and country.
