Nico Paz really grew in stature at Serie A side Como in the last two seasons, helping them qualify for the Champions League. As Real Madrid look to buy him back, there is a chance he can soon end up in England.

There have been major suggestions that Los Blancos are demanding a massive figure from Como to let them sign the Argentine, with Jose Mourinho sharing the same stance.

SportItalia report that the situation around the attacking midfielder is heating up. Next week will be key, as Como executives will fly to Madrid between Thursday and Friday in an attempt to convince Real Madrid about a deal.

Mourinho’s side are proving to be a real headache though. They can now engineer to possible move to the Premier League, especially as Como have been left reeling by the €60 million price tag. Real Madrid also want a €80 million buyback, which the Ligurians are hesitant in having.

This is causing concern in Italy and it won’t be a surprise if English clubs join the race.

As things stand, everything can come down to Nico Paz and his entourage as they are keen on staying at Como beyond this summer. If he pushes and puts his foot down, he could yet get control over his career instead of being used by Real Madrid simply as a means to earn money.
