Ongoings at Real Madrid have slowed down the permanent departure of Ansu Fati from arch rivals Barcelona being made permanent.
This comes with super agent Jorge Mendes having given priority to matters at the former.
With relations now mended between the parties, Mendes recently oversaw the operation which took José Mourinho back to the aforementioned Real Madrid.
And the Portuguese’s efforts to facilitate Los Blancos’ activity on the transfer front have not ended there. Mendes is now also working hard to put the finishing touches on the free agent transfer of Bernardo Silva to the Bernabéu.
In the process, though, one of the agent’s fellow clients has seen his own transfer delayed.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, Ansu Fati’s permanent move to AS Monaco from Barcelona – now considered as imminent following fresh negotiations between the parties – has been pushed back whilst Mendes finalises his business in Madrid.
