Federico Valverde continues to be unavailable for Real Madrid as the team prepare to take on Sevilla later today, and has thus been left out of the squad.
His return, however, is imminent. It remains to be seen if he plays in Real Madrid’s final league game of the season, but there is no denying that he will be a critical player in the coming season as well.
His relationship with Aurelien Tchouameni after their fight, thus, has been heavily discussed, for it will have a direct bearing on the team’s cohesion and performances when both players return.
As reported by Defensa Central in a recent update, Valverde has given the green light to share the field with Tchouameni again and is willing to put their clash behind him. He has no problem sharing the field with the Frenchman again.

The club are worried about the impact of the clash on the team’s midfield stability and has thus promptly ensured they have both players’ word that they are okay to share the field with one another.
What remains to be seen is how Jose Mourinho pictures his midfield for Real Madrid once he arrives in June, and whether both players continue as undisputed starters under him.
While both Real Madrid stars are reportedly open to sharing the field, it is clear that a fight of that magnitude will leave scars in both players that cannot easily be forgotten.

As it stands, both players wish to continue at Real Madrid and hope they can move past the events from a few weeks ago, and that will be the club’s objective as well. They have apologised to the dressing room, manager, and even the fans.
Concurrently, however, it would be far-fetched to say that both players will certainly continue at Real Madrid next season.
There are teams interested in both players and who are willing to offer a good sum of money for his signing. In that sense, there is an ever-so-small possibility that one of the two players leaves the club in the summer.
