Real Madrid have received some positive news ahead of their upcoming La Liga clash against Celta Vigo, as Eduardo Camavinga is set to return to the squad after several difficult days dealing with a painful infection.

According to a late update from AS, the French midfielder has recovered enough to rejoin training with the group and will travel with the team for the match at Balaídos Stadium.

Camavinga had been unavailable for the past few days after suffering from a severe tooth infection that caused considerable discomfort. The problem even forced him to miss the recent match against Getafe.

However, the situation has now improved significantly. The midfielder trained normally with the squad and has been cleared to travel for the away game in Vigo.

Without Camavinga’s recovery, Real Madrid would have been forced to travel with only three first-team midfielders available.

His presence, therefore, gives the team a much-needed option in the middle of the pitch.

Raul Asencio is available too

Camavinga is not the only player returning in time for the match. Defender Raul Asencio will also be part of the travelling squad.

His availability is equally important because David Alaba is currently sidelined with a calf injury.

Asencio had recently suffered a neck spasm following an awkward fall during the match against Benfica, but after training in the past two sessions, he has now received the green light to play.

Despite these small positives, Real Madrid are still dealing with a major availability crisis.

In total, nine players will miss the upcoming match. Six of them are sidelined due to injuries, while three are unavailable because of suspensions.

Among the injured players are Eder Militao, Jude Bellingham, Dani Ceballos, Rodrygo, Kylian Mbappé and Alaba.

Meanwhile, Dean Huijsen, Alvaro Carreras and Franco Mastantuono will miss the game due to suspension.

Because of this situation, Real Madrid will travel to Vigo with just 15 available first-team players.
