Real Madrid were dealt some concerning news today as two of their players – Eduardo Camavinga and Kylian Mbappe – are returning to the club from the French national team camp due to fitness concerns.
Camavinga did not train in a single session with Les Bleus this week due to hamstring pain and did not play a part against Ukraine last night. It was decided not to risk him for the next game vs Azerbaijan and he was released from the France squad.
Now, as confirmed a few minutes back, Mbappe, too, had been released by the 2018 FIFA World Cup champions as the Real Madrid superstar was dealing with some inflammation in his ankle, after spearheading the team to a win over Ukraine.
But the good news is that neither Camavinga nor Mbappe is dealing with an injury, reports journalist Arancha Rodriguez.
Indeed, both the Real Madrid players have no injuries to contend with and are largely dealing with discomfort. In fact, the update states that Mbappe will not have to undergo any tests either.

Furthermore, barring any unforeseen circumstances, both Camavinga and Mbappe are expected to be fit and available when Real Madrid take on Elche after the international break.
This will come as a major relief for Xabi Alonso & co., considering both players are important for the team.
Mbappe is the leading goalscorer for Real Madrid this season and is also topping the La Liga goalscoring charts.
Meanwhile, Camavinga has been slowly growing in influence under Alonso, starting to gain more prominence with each passing game.
Both players will be fit and available to face Elche right after the international break. Their teammates Thibaut Courtois and Federico Valverde, who suffered minor injuries earlier this month, are also expected to be ready for that game.
