Endrick is experiencing a very tough start to the season on a personal level at Real Madrid. The Madrid striker, who was used as a super sub during Carlo Ancelotti’s last campaign, hasn’t featured at all since Xabi Alonso took over as manager, regardless of the competition.

On Instagram in recent hours, the young Brazilian’s father, Douglas Sousa, tried to comfort his son: “I know how much you focus on football every day of your life, how good you are. You are a winner, a warrior. Your star will shine. Your future will be up there. I love you.”

To make sure he doesn’t miss out on a chance to play in next summer’s World Cup, Endrick has reportedly expressed openness to a loan move in January.
