According to fresh reports from SPORT, Real Madrid have turned their attention towards the Bundesliga, with two intriguing profiles from VfB Stuttgart catching their eye.
It is known that the midfield position has been identified as a key area that requires strengthening.
While high-profile names such as Rodri, Enzo Fernandez and Alexis Mac Allister have all been linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu, the reality is that Madrid continue to assess more accessible and strategic options.
One such option is Chema Andres, a familiar face within the club’s system.
The Spaniard, who moved to Stuttgart last summer, has developed steadily in Germany and remains on Madrid’s radar.
Importantly, Los Blancos retain the possibility of bringing him back for a relatively modest fee of around €13.5 million.
From the player’s perspective, a return to Madrid is not off the table, as Chema is open to the idea, although several factors still need to be resolved before any concrete progress is made.
Interestingly, Chema is currently sharing the dressing room with another midfielder long admired by Madrid, namely, Angelo Stiller.

The German was heavily linked with a move to the Spanish capital last summer, but the deal never materialised as Madrid opted against signing a midfielder at the time.
Now, with the situation evolving, Stiller has once again emerged as a viable option.
At 25 years of age, he has built a strong reputation in the Bundesliga thanks to his composure, passing range, and tactical intelligence.
There has even been a light-hearted conversation between the two Stuttgart teammates regarding a potential move to Madrid.
Speaking about the rumours, Chema offered insight into their exchanges, saying,
“Everyone knows Madrid, but there were some jokes between us. Are you going there? Will I go, and you go? But little else,” Chema said.
While nothing is advanced at this stage, the possibility of a double move cannot be entirely ruled out, especially if Madrid fail to secure their primary midfield targets.
