Supporters of La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Friday breathed a collective sigh of relief.

This comes amid confirmation that, despite prior claims to the contrary, Franco Mastantuono has not suffered an injury setback.

Youngster Mastantuono saw his name suddenly emerge as a prominent one in the Spanish capital earlier today.

As much came after reports were forthcoming, suggesting that the Argentine was set for an incoming spell on the sidelines.

As alluded to above, however, this is in fact not the case.

As confirmed by Real Madrid insider Álvaro Esteban, there was a ‘false alarm’ with Mastantuono, with the summer arrival in Xabi Alonso’s squad having trained normally with his teammates on Friday.

Los Blancos are primed to return to action on Saturday night, in a La Liga meeting with Valencia.

And Mastantuono, after being left on the bench for the entirety of last weekend’s El Clásico, will this time round be expected to play his part.
