FC Barcelona got another memorable win last night as they beat Celta Vigo at the Montjuic with a 4-3 scoreline. While the Catalans were expected to win this game even before kick-off, the fact that made this win so special for them was that they had to overcome a 2-goal deficit in the last half-hour of the game, and they successfully did so by scoring three goals to win the game.

This was undoubtedly a significant win for the Blaugranes, as it once again showcased their mentality to overcome any challenge that comes their way in their march towards another league title.

After the game, Hansi Flick and several Barcelona players expressed their delight at winning the match. Meanwhile, MARCA notes that the Catalan club’s X account also shared a message that celebrated this win, but which did not sit too well with the fans of their arch-rivals, Real Madrid.

The social media message went as: “Well, it really was a comeback week!” and was accompanied with a winking emoticon. This message alluded to the inability of the Merengues to spring a comeback against Arsenal in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-finals encounter.

This tweet was shared and commented upon by a high number of X users, as a good number of Real Madrid fans did not take it too well. They saw this statement as a lack of respect from Barcelona, and some of them called on their team to take their revenge in the upcoming Copa del Rey final.

There is no doubt that in addition to a major piece of silverware, a lot of prestige and bragging rights will also be on the table as the two traditional Spanish rivals take on one another in this match. Soon after that, there is also an El Clasico in La Liga scheduled to take place, which can prove to be decisive for the league race.
