Real Madrid megastar Kylian Mbappe is enjoying an excellent season at the club even though things have not been going their way in recent weeks.
In just 21 matches across all competitions this term, the 26-year-old forward has already racked up 25 goals and four assists, leading the goalscoring charts in La Liga as well as the UEFA Champions League.
Given his spectacular form, Kylian Mbappe has now joined Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal as the world’s most valuable player, with his market value rising to €200 million, following the latest update of the data by experts, Transfermarkt.
At the start of the season, the value of Real Madrid’s No. 10 stood at €180 million after a mildly successful debut campaign with Los Blancos, where he did not win any major trophies but bagged the European Golden Boot and the La Liga Pichichi Trophy.

Lamine Yamal, for his part, began the 2025/26 season valued at €200 million and recognised as the most valuable footballer in the world on his own.
This was due to the fact that he scored 18 goals and provided 21 assists in 55 matches in the previous campaign, while winning La Liga, Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup.
Now, while the Barcelona teenager’s value has remained constant, Mbappe’s has risen by €20 million to make him the joint-most valuable player in the world at €200 million.
Joining Mbappe and Lamine is Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland, who also saw his market value increase from €180 million to €200 million in the ongoing season.
Meanwhile, Mbappe’s teammate and Haaland’s close friend, Jude Bellingham, has seen his value drop from €180 million to €160 million. Vinicius Jr.’s valuation remains intact at €150 million.
