Endrick is all set to leave Real Madrid on a loan deal in January, with Olympique Lyon set to be his new destination.

The 19-year-old striker has struggled for prominence under Xabi Alonso since returning from his injury, barely getting any minutes.

As such, the decision has been made for Endrick to leave on loan in January, irrespective of whether Alonso stays or gets axed by the club in the coming days.

Endrick’s schedule ahead of Lyon move

Now, according to El Chiringuito TV, Endrick’s loan move to Lyon from Real Madrid is as good as complete and the schedule for him to fly to France to join his new team is set.

As per the report, the teenage Real Madrid striker is expected to start training with his new teammates at Lyon right after Christmas, on 26 December.

The idea is for Endrick to begin working under manager Paulo Fonseca for a few days, before he is presented to the media as Lyon’s new signing on 1 January, as soon as the winter transfer window opens.

Moreover, if everything goes well, the young striker could be in line to make his debut for the Ligue 1 outfit two days later, when they face off against AS Monaco on 3 January.

Since returning from injury in September, Endrick has made only two appearances in all competitions, clocking only 22 minutes, without any goal or assist.

The youngster was a bright spark for Real Madrid in the recent 1-2 loss to Manchester City and was appreciated by the fans at the Santiago Bernabeu.

It led to speculations about his loan move to Lyon being put on halt, especially with Alonso’s future in the balance. But, everything appears to be set for Endrick to begin a new adventure with Lyon in a little over a week.
