As such, Jose Felix Diaz of AS reports that the 24-year-old has informed Bayern that he wants to sit down with club officials once the World Cup concludes.

The purpose of the meeting is straightforward. Olise wants clarity over how Bayern view his long-term role after two excellent seasons in Munich, during which he established himself as one of the Bundesliga’s most influential attacking players.

He is fully aware that some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Real Madird and PSG, are watching his situation, but he has chosen not to engage publicly with any speculation until he has spoken directly with Bayern.

No shortage of interest

Interest in Olise continues to grow. Top teams in the Premier League, PSG and Real Madrid have all been linked with the French winger in recent weeks.

Los Blancos, in particular, see the former Crystal Palace attacker as their next big ‘Galactico’ signing.

Meanwhile, Olise and his representatives plan to carefully evaluate every option after the World Cup before deciding whether his future still lies in Germany or elsewhere.

Inside Bayern, there is an increasing acceptance that Olise’s circumstances have changed dramatically since he arrived two years ago.
