Real Madrid handed boost as three players return to training before Inter clash

Real Madrid made several changes to their team in the last summer transfer window, and, expectedly, Jose Mourinho has made several changes to the team compared to the last season. New players like Ibrahima Konate, Denzel Dumfries, and Bernardo Silva already seem to be fixed starters for the Portuguese coach, while others like Marc Cucurella and Yan Diomande are also gaining in importance. Carlos Espi continues to be an option off the bench.

However, competition for spots in the starting eleven is only going to increase in the coming few days. This is clear from a report from MARCA, which reveals that Aurelien Tchouameni, Endrick, and Thiago Pitarch all trained with the rest of their teammates in the final training session before the Champions League game against Inter Milan.

The three players’ conditions are not the same though. The Frenchman has only recently returned to training, and is unlikely to play in the upcoming game, while the other two have been working for a longer time, and have better chances of playing against Inter, and can make their season debuts in that match.

As things stand, none of them is expected to start the match on Tuesday, even though Mourinho will be facing quite a headache in midfield. Arda Guler, Eduardo Camavinga, and Bernardo Silva are all suspended for this game, and thus, the Portuguese coach will have to come up with a creative formula to field an effective midfield in this match.

The newly signed youngster Sergio Martinez has been training with the Real Madrid first team for this game, and can be one of the starters. Then, later in the game, one of these two midfielders, Tchouameni or Thiago, can also make his way on the pitch to help the team get a positive result in their opening game of the UCL campaign.
