A fresh report from SPORT has confirmed that Real Madrid will head into their clash against Getafe dealing with several important absences.
The squad returned to Valdebebas to begin final preparations, but the training session immediately highlighted the scale of the problem for Alvaro Arbeloa.
As expected, the coach was unable to count on Eder Militao, Dani Ceballos, Raul Asencio, Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe.
Each absence carries a different weight. To begin with, Militao remains in recovery, with the club continuing to handle his situation cautiously.
Ceballos, while not always a guaranteed starter, offers valuable rotation options in midfield, and his absence reduces flexibility.
Bellingham’s situation is more concerning from a tactical point of view. His energy, pressing and ability to arrive late in the box make him central to Madrid’s structure.

There was also an unexpected development involving Eduardo Camavinga.
The outlet mentions that the midfielder was unable to complete the session as planned due to a dental issue. Although the setback is not considered serious, it disrupted his preparation.
The biggest question mark surrounds Mbappe. His absence from training increases uncertainty just hours before the match.
It is said that the French forward will be sidelined for at least three more weeks, forcing Arbeloa to rethink his attacking approach.
Without Mbappe’s pace and direct threat, Madrid may lean towards a more collective, possession-based plan or rely heavily on wide players to stretch the game.
All this comes at a very delicate time for Real Madrid. After Barcelona secured a win against Villarreal, Madrid cannot afford to drop points if they want to keep the title race tight.
