Statisticians Opta have this week revealed the updated list of clubs with the best percentage chances of going all the way at the Club World Cup.

And Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid are forced to make do with a spot in 3rd.

Los Blancos are of course fresh off booking their spot in the quarter-finals of the CWC, courtesy of a 1-0 downing of Italian giants Juventus.

Xabi Alonso’s troops, in turn, are facing up to a meeting with German powerhouse Borussia Dortmund this weekend.

Even in the case of advancing beyond BVB, though, a tough task is guaranteed to await Real Madrid in the final four.

This comes with Los Merengues finding themselves on the same side of the draw as Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.

And with as much in mind, they are considered 3rd favourites to go all the way in the USA over the coming weeks (16.9%)

As per Diario AS, citing Opta, Premier League outfit Chelsea, on the much more favourable side of the draw, are the current favourites to lift the Club World Cup trophy (26.8%).

Next up come Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain (24.9%), with Real Madrid followed by Bayern Munich in 4th (14.8%).
