According to Sky Germany, Real Madrid have joined the clubs tracking Borussia Dortmund and Germany midfielder Felix Nmecha. New coach José Mourinho is said to admire him and has enquired about the nine-time international.

Manchester United and Manchester City are also monitoring the 25-year-old.

Dortmund are under no pressure to sell this summer after extending Nmecha’s contract to 2030 in March.

The midfielder reportedly has a €70 million release clause that becomes active from 2027, while Dortmund can negotiate a fee this summer.

Nmecha began the World Cup strongly, scoring and winning a penalty in Germany’s 7-1 opening win over Curaçao.
