Real Madrid & Juventus in talks over late-window transfer deal | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid are locked in ongoing negotiations with Italian heavyweights Juventus, over a potential transfer deal.

That’s according to journalist Orazio Accomando of Italian outlet Sportmediaset, who points towards Dani Ceballos as the subject of these talks.

The name of midfielder Ceballos has proven a central one in Spain’s capital once more across the day to date.

This comes after Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso assured that, after the former Arsenal man rejected a move to France with Marseille at the last minute, he would be staying put for the season ahead.

Mere hours on, however, Ceballos has been linked with another of the continent’s most recognisable clubs.

On this occasion, it is Juventus, on the lookout for reinforcements in midfield following Douglas Luiz’s recent exit, who have been credited with a keen interest in the 29-year-old.

As per a report from the aforementioned Orazio Accomando:

‘Juventus, negotiations ongoing for Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid. Intermediaries in Turin to reach an agreement. The midfielder rejected Marseille three days ago and is on the market.’
