Kenan Yildiz has emerged as one of the standout young players in Serie A, becoming the face of the new-look Juventus team.

Just 20 years old, the Turkish forward has been handed the iconic No. 10 shirt at the Italian club, while he has also captained the team on occasions.

Given his rise to stardom and immense potential, Yildiz is attracting strong interest from clubs across Europe.

Real Madrid among clubs eyeing Yildiz

Now, according to Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t AS), Real Madrid are among top clubs monitoring the situation of Yildiz even as contract negotiations between the player’s camp and Juventus stall.

The Turkish international has a contract with the Bianconeri until 2029, but the club are looking to extend it by another year while offering him an improvement in his salary, considering he is one of the lowest earners in the squad.

However, Juventus and Yildiz have been unable to reach an agreement on a contract renewal. There is no consensus on financial terms or certain contractual conditions.

As such, negotiations for an extension until 2030 have stalled, and both parties are now reconsidering their positions.

The development has not gone unnoticed by Yildiz’s suitors such as Real Madrid and Arsenal, as well as Chelsea, who had already offered €67 million to sign him in the summer.

The Merengues’ manager, Xabi Alonso, is understood to be a big admirer of the versatile forward and wants him at the Bernabeu.

The report claims that Yildiz’s market value could reach €100 million by next summer, meaning interested parties will have to splash big if they intend to sign him.

Juventus, for their part, still have one potential card to play: the possible involvement of the club’s owners in the negotiations to persuade the Turkish gem to remain with the team.
