Moreover, as already reported, Kylian Mbappe also has a fractured finger, although the Frenchman will make himself available for the game.

Rudiger, Bellingham, Valverde also dealing with discomfort

Now, according to journalist Alvaro Esteban, three more key players – Antonio Rudiger, Jude Bellingham, and Federico Valverde are carrying some discomfort but will play against Manchester City.

Rudiger had already missed a large stretch of the season, but made his comeback a little over a week ago, starting against Girona.

Since then, the German international has gone on to play three games in a row in quick succession. Now, it appears that he is carrying some discomfort, but will still play vs Manchester City, given the absences in defence.

Bellingham, meanwhile, ended the Celta Vigo clash with a cut on his face that left him bleeding. Valverde, who also played the entire game on Sunday night, is understood to be dealing with some physical issues.

However, all three will take the field against Manchester City on Wednesday night, in what is game that could decide the future of manager Alonso.

The situation is quite concerning for Real Madrid, who have seen a lot of injury problems over the past month. With seven players already unavailable, they will hope that there are no further issues as they get set to take on Man City.
