Real Madrid lands in Algeria (official)

Real Madrid is taking its international development strategy to the next level. The Spanish club has officially announced the launch, in January 2026, of its Educational Football Program in Algeria, in partnership with MENA Elite Sports. This ambitious initiative, revealed on Real’s official website, is a continuation of the social and educational work carried out for years by the Real Madrid Foundation across the globe.During a ceremony held at the club’s headquarters in Madrid, Emilio Butragueño, director of institutional relations, welcomed a delegation from MENA Elite Sports to present the details of the project. The program, open to 150 young Algerians, aims to combine sporting excellence and personal development, following the “Values and sport” philosophy.
