In addition to these, other confirmed venues include Seattle’s Lumen Field, Orlando’s Camping World Stadium, and Inter&Co Stadium.

Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium, Cincinnati’s TQL Stadium, Washington DC’s Audi Field, Nashville’s GEODIS Park, and Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field round out the list.

This brings the total to 12 stadiums, primarily located on the eastern side of the United States. The tournament will run from June 15 to July 13 and will feature 32 teams competing for the prestigious trophy.

A new-look Club World Cup

As for the participating teams, 30 clubs have already secured their spots in the competition. Representing Spain are Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid from La Liga.

Other major clubs include Manchester City, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Dortmund, PSG, Juventus, Inter Milan, Porto, Benfica, and Salzburg.

The list also features clubs from around the globe, including Al Hilal, Al Ain, Urawa Red Diamonds, Ulsan Hyundai, Al Ahly, Wydad Casablanca, Esperance, Mamelodi Sundowns and Auckland City FC among others.

Two additional slots are yet to be filled, with one going to the champion of the current Copa Libertadores and the other to a host team from Major League Soccer.

As the host country, the United States has the privilege of adding one more team to the mix. Speculation has been rife regarding the final MLS team, with Inter Miami, led by Lionel Messi, being a strong candidate due to their recent Leagues Cup triumph.

FIFA will ultimately make the decision on which team claims the final spot, with the MLS champion being a likely contender.
