FC Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal has taken the world by storm this season, establishing himself as one of the best footballers on the planet at the moment despite being only 17 years old.
The La Masia gem has had a huge role in Barça securing the domestic treble of La Liga, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup.
Naturally, the young winger is in the running for the La Liga U23 Player of the Season and La Liga Player of the Season honours while his name is also being touted for the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
Lamine Yamal’s exploits on the field for Barcelona have left everyone mesmerized, with the teenage prodigy drawing praises from all quarters.
Joining the throng of the Barcelona jewel’s admirers is former Real Madrid superstar and manager Zinedine Zidane.

The legendary former footballer expressed his amazement at Lamine’s talent, in particular hailing the youngster’s performance in the UEFA Champions League clash against Inter Milan.
“His second half against Inter Milan… I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. To see someone in such control on the pitch is pretty fantastic. We all enjoy watching him play,” Zidane told Footmercato.
In 55 matches across all competitions this season, Lamine has racked up a tally of 18 goals and 25 assists.
Now set to represent Spain at the UEFA Nations League in June, the young phenom will be hoping to lead La Roja to the title after having helped them win the UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany last summer.
