Real Madrid icon Zinedine Zidane has this week opened up on his appreciation for the talents of a member of the attacking ranks at Los Blancos’ arch rivals.

The player in question? Lamine Yamal.

Wide-man Lamine has of course spent the last year continuing to build upon his reputation as not only the game’s standout young talent, but arguably the best player in world football.

Still just 18, the Spanish international has been widely hailed for his unpredictability and individual brilliance, at a time when so many players and teams as a whole are restricted by a rigid system.

And one individual on whom such ongoing excellence has not been at all lost is the aforementioned Zinedine Zidane.

Speaking during an appearance in front of the media, as cited by El Chiringuito TV, this week, former Real Madrid midfielder and manager Zidane explained:

“The player who moves me the most emotionally when he touches the ball is Lamine Yamal. Against Inter Milan last season at San Siro, he did everything on his own.”
