Having arrived from Palmeiras last summer, Endrick has not had it easy in his debut season at Real Madrid.

The 18-year-old striker arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu as one of the hottest talents from South America but the competition for places in the Merengues’ attacking unit has meant that minutes have been hard to come by.

Endrick does not give up

Despite his situation, according to AS, Endrick continues to work and wait. He repeats this cycle daily, knowing that competing for a place alongside Real Madrid’s Fantastic Four of Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, and Jude Bellingham is a huge challenge.

As such, Both the coaching staff and his teammates have been left impressed by his attitude and his dedication. The 18-year-old pushes himself to the limit, staying ready for whenever manager Carlo Ancelotti gives him a chance.

So far, Endrick has played just 496 minutes this season, fewer than even Dani Carvajal (878 minutes), who has been out since October 5. Only David Alaba, currently at 311 minutes, has played less, though he is closing the gap.

However, Endrick is defying expectations – not with quantity, but with quality. Despite limited minutes, he has already scored six goals, averaging one every 83 minutes, the best goal-per-minute ratio in the squad.

For now, Endrick is not considering a loan move away from the club. The final decision will be made in the summer, but his current focus remains solely on Real Madrid and making history at the club.

With March underway, Real Madrid remain in contention for LaLiga, the Champions League, and the Copa del Rey and Endrick is willing and ready to contribute in whichever way to help his team achieve glory.
