Real Madrid make contact over summer move for another Bayern Munich star | OneFootball

Contacts have been initiated between the brass at La Liga giants Real Madrid, and the entourage of Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich.

That’s according to German football insider Christian Falk, who has on Thursday evening provided an insight into the situation.

Midfielder Kimmich, for his part, is looking increasingly likely to be on the move this summer.

As much comes with the 29-year-old due to see his contract terms with long-time employers Bayern Munich come to a close in June.

A whole host of leading clubs from across the continent, in turn, are understood to have earmarked Kimmich as a potential signing with a view to next season.

And, as alluded to above, on Thursday, negotiations with one such club have been kickstarted.

As per a report from Christian Falk:

‘Joshua Kimmich (29) is in contact with Real Madrid about his future. Real is the club that would appeal to him most in the event of a transfer.’

Whilst Real Madrid look increasingly likely to miss out on one Bayern Munich star in Alphonso Davies, the arrival of another, it would appear, could yet be on the agenda in Spain’s capital.
