Real Madrid were recently dealt a major blow as Dani Ceballos picked up a muscle strain and had to miss training.
Reports indicate the midfielder has been ruled out of this weekend’s clash against Getafe, although Real Madrid have yet to confirm the injury.
Many fear that Ceballos’ latest knock could rule him out of the all-important game against Barcelona on October 26.
A recent report from Diario AS has confirmed that Ceballos’ injury is not too serious and the player could be back just in time for the Juventus clash.
Real Madrid are slated to take on the Italian giants on October 22, just four days before the first El Clasico of the season.

Ceballos should be fit enough to make the squad against Juventus, which should come as a sigh of relief for coach Xabi Alonso, who is dealing with limited options due to various injuries.
The report goes on to suggest that Ceballos will likely be fit to feature against Barcelona, which is another boost for Los Blancos.
Although it is true that Ceballos might not ideally make the starting eleven for Real Madrid in the Clasico, his presence does offer Xabi Alonso a lot of depth in midfield.
This is important, especially in a season where the fixture lists are congested and the coach is often forced to make a lot of rotations week in and week out.
Not to mention, Ceballos’ technical prowess and ability to make an instant impact could be handy for Alonso, especially at a time when star player Jude Bellingham has underperformed, both in terms of fitness and form.
