According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid are monitoring Red Bull Leipzig centre-back Castello Lukeba (21) with a view to a potential move in 2025.

Lukeba joined RB Leipzig from formative club Olympique Lyonnais back in the summer of 2023. He has since established himself in the Bundesliga, making 53 appearances for Leipzig since the move, whilst also briefly breaking into the France set-up. Just two months after his move away from OL, he earned his only cap for Les Bleus.

Premier League sides interested in Lukeba

Having signed a contract extension at the end of October, Lukeba has committed his future to RB Leipzig, however, the new contract includes a release clause, which according to Romano is worth €90m. The value of this release clause will fluctuate from season to season.

Real Madrid, as well as Premier League clubs, are showing an interest in the French centre-back with a view to a move come the summer.
