After leaving the French national team camp last Friday due to discomfort, Kylian Mbappé will not undergo any medical examination at Real Madrid.

Following his withdrawal from France's trip to Azerbaijan—presented as a precautionary measure—Kylian Mbappé has once again sparked suspicions without even setting foot in Spain. While the FFF cited a sore ankle and scheduled tests in Madrid as the reason for his absence, social media moved even faster: photos surfaced of luggage bearing the player's name and showing a flight to Dubai. Rumors swirled about a stay at Atlantis The Royal and a padel club appearance. And just like that, a controversy thought to be buried since last autumn has been reignited.

Didier Deschamps, meanwhile, tried to defuse the situation by reminding everyone that his star striker is dealing with "an almost chronic inflammation," before adding: "Even if it doesn't prevent him from playing. I believe there's no risk to take since we're already qualified, so I left him at Real Madrid's disposal." This statement, however, stands in stark contrast to the reality in Madrid.

In fact, according to information from L'Équipe, Mbappé did not undergo the announced tests. He reportedly never even returned to Madrid on Friday. And, most importantly, no medical check-up is planned. The forward is expected to return to training on Wednesday and is set to start on Sunday in Elche.
