La Liga giants Real Madrid have been offered the chance to bring in a member of the midfield ranks at Saudi outfit Al-Hilal for next season.

This comes amid the understanding that Rúben Neves is eyeing a move to the Spanish capital.

Neves is for his part currently due to bring a close to his time on the books of Al-Hilal in the summer of 2026.

As much comes ahead of the expiration of the Portuguese international’s contract terms.

The Al-Hilal brass have put a renewal proposal on the table, but Neves appears to have his heart set on a return to Europe.

Not only that, but the 28-year-old appears to fancy his chances of securing a place at one of the continent’s leading clubs.

As per a report from Diario AS, Neves has been offered to the aforementioned Real Madrid through his team of agents.

Florentino Pérez and co, however, have rejected the approach, not viewing Neves as a necessary profile in Xabi Alonso’s squad.
