Real Madrid open talks with Lyon over January transfer | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid have opened negotiations with French outfit Olympique Marseille, over the terms of a January transfer for Endrick.

This has been confirmed by market insider Fabrizio Romano.

Frontman Endrick is widely expected to depart Spain’s capital following the turn of the year.

Yet to secure a single minute of playing time under the watch of new Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso this season, the 19-year-old is in desperate need of minutes with a view to next summer’s World Cup.

A six-month loan exit from Spain’s capital therefore appears to be the ideal scenario for all parties.

And as alluded to above, this week, discussions over precisely as much have been kicked into gear.

As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid and Lyon have had direct contact over a January loan move for Endrick.

The young goalscorer, for his part, is said to be open to the prospect of a mid-season move to The Stade Vélodrome.
