Real Madrid pair Arda Güler & Kylian Mbappé send messages to Vinícius Jr. after ‘The Best’ award win | OneFootball

Two leading members of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid have taken to social media, to send messages of congratulations to teammate Vinícius Jr.

This, of course, comes after the Brazilian scooped an altogether high-profile individual accolade.

FIFA’s annual The Best ceremony took place on Tuesday evening.

The headline prize up for grabs at the gala came in the form of ‘The Best Player’ of the Year, widely considered, after the Ballon d’Or, as the most prestigious individual accolade in world football.

And, when all was said and done, after being snubbed for the ‘Golden Ball’ back in October, Vinícius finally had his moment, lifting the trophy as ‘The Best’ the beautiful game has to offer.

Messages of congratulations, in turn, have since come pouring in for the 24-year-old, from across the world of football.

And, as alluded to above, amongst those to have been quick to make clear their delight for Vinícius were a pair of headline members of Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid squad.
