Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that two leading members of his squad will play no part in the club’s next outing.
Real are of course primed to return to action on Wednesday night, in a Copa del Rey quarter-final meeting with Leganés.
On Tuesday afternoon, Carlo Ancelotti therefore took his place in front of the media for his pre-match press conference.
Los Blancos will head into tomorrow’s matchup with sights on a bounce-back result, following a hugely disappointing 1-0 weekend defeat at the hands of Espanyol.
Efforts towards as much, though, will come sans the contributions of both Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé.
Drawn on the fitness situation in his squad at present, Ancelotti confirmed that the Englishman and Frenchman have picked up respective fitness problems:
“Bellingham has suffered a knock and will not play tomorrow. Mbappé is also out of tomorrow’s game. He has a bruise on his calf.”
