Gabri Valero is regarded as one of the most talented young prospects coming through the youth ranks at Real Madrid.

The 18-year-old versatile midfield prospect is currently a part of the Juvenil A (U-19) setup at Real Madrid and has been tipped for a very bright future in the game.

Real Madrid extend Gabri Valero’s contract

Such is Real Madrid’s trust in Gabri that they have renewed the teenage prodigy’s contract until the summer of 2030, reports AS.

The club see him as a player with enormous potential. As such, they have now secured his future until the age of 23.

Gabri is a different kind of footballer, eye-catching, with dribbling as his calling card. “If we talk about pure skill, about one-on-one ability, there are very few like him,” says someone with deep knowledge of his game.

In fact, club legend Marcelo recently named Gabri as one of his most favourite dribblers, saying:

“There’s a player now on Real Madrid’s Juvenil A team called Gabri. He’s top-notch, I like him. He’ll probably make the first team because he dribbles incredibly well, like Lamine, he’s got great ball control.”

Several clubs have approached the young player in recent weeks, something considered natural by those close to him. “Because he catches the eye,” they summarise.

However, Real Madrid’s confidence in Gabri is absolute, and the player and his camp also fully trust the club with his development and wish to stay put.

Having renewed his contract until 2030, the teenager’s immediate objective is to continue consolidating his role in Juvenil A.

Under Lopez de Lerma he has grown in importance, being a regular starter with 12 starts in 16 matches. He recently started for the first time in the UEFA Youth League and he scored his first goal of the season against Leganes earlier this month.

Gabri is aware that there are aspects of his game that still need refinement and that there is work to be done. He will continue to do so at Real Madrid, aiming to break into the first-team setup in the future.
