Real Madrid have on Sunday evening sent a message of congratulations the way of bitter rivals Barcelona.

This comes fresh off an outing to forget for all associated with Los Blancos…

Real of course made the trip to Catalunya’s capital a short time ago, in the knowledge that anything other than a victory would see opponents Barcelona crowned La Liga champions for the latest time.

When all was said and done, Hansi Flick’s troops did indeed emerge on the right side of the result, triumphing by two goals to nil to add a 29th league title to their bulging trophy cabinet.

And as alluded to above, with the dust having now settled on the season’s final edition of El Clásico, Real Madrid, as a club, have publicly responded…

In a post across their official social media platforms late on Sunday, Los Blancos wrote:

‘Congratulations to FC Barcelona for the 2025/26 La Liga title.’
