It is clear that Real Madrid are gearing up for a busy summer ahead. While the returns of Endrick and Nico Paz will certainly boost the attack, the club are also looking for emergency options.

That is because of the uncertainty still lingering around the futures of Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo, two players who may still leave the Bernabeu next summer if things don’t go right.

Keeping that in mind, Real Madrid have already started thinking about potential alternatives. And that is where RB Leipzig star Yan Diomande comes into the fray.

Yan Diamonde on Real Madrid’s radar

According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid are interested in the services of Yan Diomande, an explosive winger who is making a solid impression in the Bundesliga this season.

A left-winger by trade, Diomande has racked up eight goals and six assists in all competitions this season, impressing onlookers with his pace and productivity in the final third.

Diomande’s performances have not gone unnoticed either, with Real Madrid reportedly among the clubs keen on his services.

Joining from Leganes for just €20 million last summer, the 19-year-old has shown every quality to succeed.

His direct style of play, coupled with his knack for scoring goals make him an ideal player for Real Madrid, should they part ways with either Vinicius or Rodrygo in the summer.

However, signing Diomande won’t be easy. Local reports in Germany suggest RB Leipzig value the player highly and have slapped a €100 million price tag.

Real Madrid, therefore, are certainly not among the favourites to sign Diomande, should he leave next summer.

Besides, the club are prioritising the signing of a new defender and a midfielder, although they will continue to monitor the progress of the young forward.
