La Liga giants Real Madrid have earmarked an up-and-coming member of the academy ranks at Manchester United as a target on the transfer front.
That’s according to Fichajes, who highlight JJ Gabriel as the player in question.
Youngster Gabriel, for his part, is a 15-year-old attacker, widely considered to be a star in the making in Manchester.
Full name Joseph Junior Andreou Gabriel, the striker is already plying his trade three years above his age group, with Man United’s U18s.
Not only that, but he is excelling along the way, with seven goals in six appearances to his name across the season to date.
And such exploits, it would appear, have begun to pique attentions elsewhere in Europe.
As per a report from Spanish outlet Fichajes:
‘JJ Gabriel’s meteoric rise has attracted the attention of several renowned clubs. Real Madrid has shown particular interest in signing him, seeing him as a talent who could fit into their youth system philosophy and international projection.’
Barcelona and Bayern Munich have also been credited with a keen interest in Gabriel’s signature.
