Real Madrid set Vinícius plan in motion, with Barcelona in mind | OneFootball

José Mourinho’s ultimatum to Vinicius Junior ahead of the Clásico at Camp Nou

Real Madrid manager José Mourinho has taken on the complex task of bringing back the best version of Vinicius Junior after a worrying international break with Brazil (two friendlies against Australia and one against India), where the winger managed to score just a solitary goal.

With inconsistent form causing concern in Valdebebas — with one goal and two assists in eight official matches — the Portuguese coach is considering urgent tactical changes and is demanding an immediate response from the Brazilian forward, at a time when Los Blancos are starting to need results.

The threat of being benched and the pressure of the Bernabéu are hanging over the man in the white No. 7 shirt, who is obliged to rediscover his game-changing football this coming October 25 to close the gap at the top of the league.
