Real Madrid have slapped a huge price tag on Arsenal target Vinicius Junior.
According to SPORT, Madrid president Florentino Perez will only sanction Vinicius’ departure if a club makes an offer worth £137m.
The Brazilian has been one of the most important players for Los Blancos over the years.
He has scored 128 goals and provided 100 assists in 375 appearances across all competitions.
But his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu will expire next year.
Talks over a new deal with Madrid have stalled, with the club facing the risk of losing him for nothing next summer.
Despite their weak negotiating position, the La Liga outfit will only let him leave for an offer worth £136m.
Arsenal have already signed Christos Tzolis, but further attacking reinforcements are needed.
With Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli expected to leave this summer, the Gunners are in the market for an elite forward.
Vinicius would be a blockbuster signing, but the Premier League giants would need to spend a record fee to secure his services.
The 26-year-old is widely regarded as one the best forwards in the world, known for his pace trickery and goal threat.
He enjoyed an impressive World Cup campaign this summer, netting four goals in five matches for Brazil who crashed out of the tournament in the round of 16.
