Real Madrid snatch another youngster away from Atlético | OneFootball

La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid have secured a deal to lure an up-and-coming member of the defensive ranks at city rivals Atlético Madrid to the club this summer.

That’s according to Blancos insider Javier Rodríguez Pascual, who highlights Adrián Bielsa as the player in question.

Bielsa, for his part, is a 15-year-old defender, who chiefly takes to the pitch at right-back. Lauded for his abilities on both sides of the ball, the starlet has long been considered one of the standout up-and-coming talents in the academy setup at Atlético. He is also a regular at youth level with Spain.

Safe to say, then, that those of a Rojiblancos persuasion will be disappointed to learn of the latest news surrounding Bielsa’s future.

As per a report from ESPN:

‘Real Madrid have signed Adrián Bielsa, a 15-year-old youth player from Atlético Madrid, according to several sources who spoke to ESPN.’

The move is only likely to heighten the existing tensions between the two leading clubs in Spain’s capital, following the Julián Alvarez debacle earlier this month.
