After quickly having signed four new players after the end of the last season, Real Madrid have seemingly slowed down their market operations. Currently, they are reportedly more focused on departures, but might still return to the market to sign more players before the summer transfer window ends.
One player who has been linked with them for quite some time now is the French forward Michael Olise. Real Madrid have already published an official statement to ensure they are not negotiating with the forward, while Bayern Munich have also made it amply clear that he is not for sale. Still, he continues to be linked with the Merengue club.
In fact, a recent report suggested that he desires a move to Real Madrid this summer. However, he has not yet communicated this desire to the Bavarian club. But this can change soon, as he has a meeting scheduled with Bayern soon, in which he can either express his desire to continue leading his current club’s attack or to leave.
Meanwhile, according to a report from SPORT, Los Blancos also have their roadmap about the French forward clear, and they will not launch an offensive for him unless the player himself forces a departure. Real Madrid understand that this operation can succeed only if Olise himself formally requests a move.
If this ends up happening, the Merengues will be open to making a historic investment for his signing, especially as they believe he will be an ideal fit to further reinforce their forward line, which already has Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior playing on the left and through the center.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid are also engaged in another important operation, that of Vinicius Junior’s renewal, and it remains to be seen how these two operations will end up and what shape their attacking line will take for the next season.
