Real Madrid star considering January exit | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Endrick is giving consideration to seeking out a fresh departure from the club following the turn of the year. This comes amid mounting frustration regarding his lack of game time.

Frontman Endrick is for his part fresh off an altogether productive loan stint away from Spain’s capital. Over the 2nd half of last season, the Brazilian shone in the colours of French outfit Olympique Lyonnais, to the tune of 16 direct goal contributions in 21 appearances all told.

The expectation, in turn, was that Endrick would play a more prominent role back with parent club Real Madrid this time round.

This, however, has since not proven to be the case… After being forced to contend with an early injury setback, the youngster has since been afforded a grand total of four minutes on the pitch.

As things stand, Endrick appears to sit behind both Kylian Mbappé and Blancos summer signing Carlos Espí in José Mourinho’s centre-forward pecking order.

And this 3rd-choice status could yet culminate in the South American seeking out a fresh exit during the January transfer window. As per a report from Marca:

‘The Brazilian has barely played for Real Madrid this season and, as the calendar progresses, he’s once again eyeing a move in the winter transfer window. Roma, who nearly signed him last summer, have re-emerged as a potential destination.’
