Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has this week secured for himself a fresh piece of individual silverware.
This comes amid confirmation that the England international has been named the Spanish Footballers’ Association Player of the Year for 2023/24.
Midfielder Bellingham for his part of course enjoyed nothing short of a spectacular debut campaign in La Liga last time out.
Across 28 appearances from his berth as the engine room spearhead in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, the 21-year-old racked up 25 direct goal contributions, by way of 19 goals and six assists.
As much proved enough to secure for Bellingham the official award for La Liga Player of the Year.
And, as alluded to above, on Thursday, confirmation has arrived of another prize set to come the way of the youngster.
Bellingham has beaten out the competition to the prestigious AFE Player of the Year, voted for by members of the Spanish Footballers’ Association.
He will be presented with the accolade next Monday, at the annual AFE awards ceremony.
