Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga will not be available for France in the country’s next fixture.
This comes owing to developments in Les Bleus’ latest outing on Thursday.
Didier Deschamps’ troops marked their return to action a short time ago, playing host to Israel in a Nations League clash in Paris.
The aforementioned Camavinga was for his part afforded a starting berth in the middle of the park, alongside N’Golo Kanté.
The 22-year-old went on to play all but 20 minutes of the matchup, hooked for Adrien Rabiot with 70 minutes on the clock.
And, en route to as much, Camavinga went on to pick up a suspension.
Owing to a challenge late in the first-half, the former Stade Rennais talent was shown a yellow card, ruling him out of France’s meeting with Italy on Sunday.
This means that Camavinga will be released from Didier Deschamps’ camp early, a welcome boost for Carlo Ancelotti’s injury-ravaged Real Madrid squad.
