The coaching staff at La Liga giants Real Madrid consider Joan Martínez to be a solidified member of the club’s first-team setup.
That’s according to Marca, who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the situation.
Youngster Joan, for his part, is of course sidelined long-term at present.
As much comes after the stopper suffered a torn ACL whilst in training during pre-season.
Prior to as much, though, the Spaniard was making a name for himself as one of the standout breakthrough talents at Valdebebas.
Despite his tender years – he only recently turned 17 – Joan did enough to secure a place in Carlo Ancelotti’s first-team setup in Madrid over the summer.
And, evidently, across this time, the starlet did enough to convince the Blancos’ coaching staff of his unquestionable abilities.
As per a report from Marca, upon his return to fitness, Joan ‘can be considered to be part of the first-team’ in the Spanish capital.
